Path to Financial Independence #1 - Should we buy a house or not

As I mentioned in my previous blog (Life), all we need to live a happy life is food, clothing, and shelter. When it comes to shelter, how you handle it is really important. Will we purchase a house, rent a property, or live with our parents? What would be our next goal once we have more money and are married? This blog will provide you with information on what you should do before making a crucial decision. Our mentality Most of us want our own home because it makes us feel special or because our neighbors already have one. The majority of us believe that owning a home provides more stability and is a valuable asset  because we don't have to follow any rules, we don't have to pay rent, we can do whatever we want on the walls, and so on.  When the property is ours, there are no limitations. Let's put our emotions aside for a moment and consider our financial situation. (This is primarily for persons whose sole source of income is their salary.) This is how the scenario goes:

My view on Language, Culture

LANGUAGE TAMIL is my mother tongue. I am quite happy to call myself a Tamilian. But in this blog, I'm not going to talk about a specific language; instead, I'd want to convey my general thoughts. As we all know, language is a medium through which one can express one's feelings, emotions, knowledge, and so on. For each individual, their mother tongue (primarily) or the language mastered with enthusiasm since childhood is more valuable and comfortable. I respect all languages, because the beauty of a language is only recognized by those who use it. My Personal experience (When I was in Hyderabad) When I was in a place where I couldn't use Tamil, I missed it. I learned about the significance of language and its impact on us. Of course, we can express ourselves in English, but let me present it to you this way. In general, our thoughts will be in our mother tongue, regardless of the language we use. Agreed. When we visit a place for a short time, speaking another language m

Life

We will realize the beauty of life once we get to know this. To me life is based on what I learned, realized, saw, felt for the past 21 years. For each and everyone life is totally different. The good in one's life can be bad in others, it's all based on their exposure culture etc. For example living together is considered to be a sin here but in some other place it's just a part of their life. It's based on their exposure and experiences.  Another key point is that we cannot understand the lives of others unless we have shared them. What is life?  Everything around us has been built solely to make human life easier. Let's give it an open thought. Pure air, food and water is enough to live here. It is that simple. But everything around us is just complicated. Life is full of promotions, discoveries, inventions, right, wrong, good, bad, first, last, gold, bronze, upper, lower blah blah blah. Life is actually not this.  There is no right or wrong in this world. It is

Fiji - A Happy Place

FIJI is the next place I want to talk about, the place which is more intriguing and interesting. Fiji is an island country in Melanesia, part of Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean . Fiji is considered as one of the Happiest place anyone can visit. Wherever we go we got to see happy faces welcoming us. The people there are beautiful in and out.  WHY INTERESTING From the point we enter Fiji we can regularly see people greeting with word  BULA which implies wishes for continued good health. I consider this very interesting.  Fiji has a significant number of soft  coral reefs , and  scuba diving  is a common tourist activity.  Fiji's main attractions to tourists are primarily white sandy beaches and aesthetically pleasing islands with all-year-round tropical weather. In general, Fiji is a mid-range priced holiday/vacation destination with most of the accommodations in this range. MY VIEW The main motto of a vacation is to have peace and to be happy. I feel this place will bring so m

Lockdown Life

Due to the Covid situation many of us were forced to stay at home for our own safety. Most people feels like they are going through a worst phase of life and they are not able to do what they want. Ofcourse yes this is the worst phase but we can make this a good one.  HOW  I see this phase as an opportunity to each and everyone who are currently doing something not out of their interest but for the sake of doing it. Many of us just landed in jobs just to earn but where is the passion, that is the question we have to ask to ourselves. So use this lockdown time effectively. Even if your passion is to travel around the world, I think this the right time to save, plan and decide how to do it so that once everything is back to normalcy you can just fly high. HOW TO FIND  OUR PASSION Just take a break of 2-3 days from your actual life and do what you love the most, like watching movies series or drawing etc.. and clear your mind. Then Ask yourself the following What is Happiness to u? For wh

CAROLINE ISLAND - A place which has to be visited soon. (Victim of climate change)

Today I was just writing something in my diary and I happened to see the world map in it. When I was looking them I noticed something new, which is the Caroline Island. Then I started searching about the place and some of the things were very intriguing. So this blog is about Caroline Island. WHY INTRIGUING Caroline Island  is the easternmost of the uninhabited  coral atolls  which comprise the southern  Line Islands  in the central  Pacific Ocean  Republic of  Kiribati . Caroline Island has remained relatively untouched and is one of the world's most pristine  tropical  islands,  despite   guano   mining,  copra   (coconut meat) harvesting, and human habitation in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is home to one of the world's largest populations of the   coconut crab   and is an important breeding site for   seabirds , most notably the   sooty tern . WHY THIS PLACE HAS TO BE VISITED SOON As Caroline Island only extends six meters above sea level, it is in danger as  sea lev

INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION I completed my Btech (ECE) in the year 2020 in a good college. But the placement is not good for ECE students. I always wanted to do something in my domain and don’t want to end up in software jobs as everyone do. So I started preparing for Gate exam which kind of ended in failure in 2020. So I thought why not give another try. Then I took a year break and started preparing again but I screwed up during exam again in 2021. I am just a girl who is going to turn 22 in few days. Currently I am unemployed. From today I am going to share blogs based on what’s going on in my life and the hindrances I am facing as a girl. I don’t know much about the outside world as I have spent my last 3 years on studies. I am basically zero on many things. So I decided to explore. I am just a beginner, so I will share all my experiences.
